My marriage is not validated by the laws of the land or the words of its leaders.
The bride of Christ, the church, made up of individuals in a relationship with the bridegroom is also not validated by the laws of the land or the words of its leaders.
We must not confuse the will of the people which is the foundation of democracy with the will of God which is the foundation of Christ following. One is desirable but not necessary the other is necessary but often not desired.
This is not my usual type of post or day to post but I believe it speaks to the danger we are facing in North America. We say it is about relationship with Christ but often we make it about political movements.
I am in 100% agreement with you Brother Dave! In fact no matter what our leaders say, or even the world and it’s masses say, my heart belongs everlastingly to the Lord of Hosts, MY King of Kings! Amen and Amen!
