I Am Jesus

If there ever was a line that should not be crossed I think it is the one I just crossed. Proclaiming that I am Jesus invites everything from mocking and laughter to concern and planned intervention. Before I am made fun of and publicly ridiculed, before I am hurried off to the closest psych ward and sedated, I must warn you, not only am I Jesus but you are too!

We Are All Seekers

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,  then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. … There is one thing that we find in all protective wraps but in very few protective coverings, windows and doors. Necessary but counterproductive, they invite the outside in. With all the measures taken to keep the outside, outside in both the building of a house and the construction of the Christ follower’s life and the collective of Christ followers, windows and doors by their very design and function can pose a problem.

I Want It So Bad – Maybe Too Bad!

I have a deep desire to see people discover the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. I am driven to find new ways to present my faith as a viable alternative to life without the hope following Christ offers. I want to be relevant when I interact with others. I seek to enter their world so that they can understand mine. I pursue opportunities to communicate Jesus as the type of person others would want to follow. I want it so bad – maybe too bad.
