It was all wrapped up, finished as far as I was concerned. I had answered the question, What Are You Looking For? in a way I thought addressed the topic quite well. As followers of Christ we need to seek God’s plan – Done God’s way – In God’s timing – With God’s chosen resources so that we can fulfill our part. Satan whispers that God will not come through while the word of God loudly proclaims God’s love and faithfulness – sometimes a whisper is easier to hear than loud proclamations – we must choose who we will listen to.
In my last post I revealed that I am someone who has started to experience the, “why did I come into this room” phenomenon more frequently than I care to admit, I feel I am becoming an expert at answering the question, “What are you looking for?”

I do not and never will know enough. I do not and never will understand enough. The creator of the universe offers to share His wisdom if I will humbly accept that my wisdom, my knowledge and understanding, will always fall short.
Could it be a slip of the tongue or a window into the way they view themselves? Could it be a bad read on the audience or an inflated sense of a person’s importance? Could it be a preoccupation with the things that overwhelm them at the time or simply a preoccupation with one’s self? (more…)
