Those who try to simplify life and those who try to complicate life undermine their need for obedient reaction to God’s requirements. Life is neither simple nor complex. Interaction with God is an ongoing product of a healthy relationship with Him not a last-minute way to avoid imminent failure or the required palate cleanser before every meal.
Look back, are you where you thought you would be? Look forward, will you end up where you dream you will be? As hard as we have worked and as hard as we will work, very few of us will end up where we wanted to be and even if we do, not everything will fall perfectly into place. (more…)
