God is far beyond our understanding, His approach far beyond our comprehension and His plans calculated far beyond our black and white, do or don’t simplistic attempt at addressing life’s issues.
The ultimate expression of love the created can give to The Creator is to give over our freewill so that we are no longer a slave to our sinful way of living but instead we become a slave to the only right way, the only perfect truth so that we can live the only life worth living. (more…)
It’s January 1, 2018. I sit in my rocking chair in front of the fireplace, rocking my youngest grandchild. There is no grey in my hair and very little in my beard although the beard and Just For Men® have been introduced. I have been blessed with very few wrinkles but that could change, I am only fifty. Still, there’s something about sitting in a rocking chair, grandchild on your lap in front of the fireplace that makes one feel like reflecting on the past as if to say, “I have lived a long life.” (more…)

Worship Him, Praise Him, Glorify Him but don’t market Him. Marketing is a ploy to cover up any possible issues; church is an opportunity to stand with other followers of Christ and be strengthened as we face issues.
