Born To Die

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)

Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that rought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:1-5 (NIV)

Joyous and Blessed Christmas to all my loved ones both near and far! My dearest Brother-IN-Christ, Dave has the right idea! I too have been involved in ministries that want to dwell on the pagan aspects of this day set aside as a Holyday. I CHOOSE, as so many other Brothers and Sisters in Christ to celebrate this day to commemorate Christ Jesus’ Birth and every other day to commemorate His LIFE and my life IN Him! God bless you all richly and abundantly!
