Sometimes There Is No Beauty in the Changing of the Seasons

The leaves fall off the trees with little fanfare, at least in my backyard. I have seen better, more beautiful, more colourful, but not here where I live. Some of the trees are almost completely empty. The only sign that this is fall was the ugly yellow or brown colour that had replaced the green and then fell off the trees. (more…)

Guard Your Heart

Sin is the perversion of the desires God has given us. Our strongest desire is a more fulfilling life but instead of seeking more of God at any cost we often give into the temptation to seek more of the world’s pleasures at an even greater cost.

I Think My Hair is Calvinist!

It has been a busy week. Not much time to reflect, not much time to even take a breath. The lack of oxygen and rest could be the reason that the only moment I had to sit and think led me to come to the conclusion that my hair has its own doctrine. (more…)
