To follow Christ we must not only desire to do what is Godly, we must seek to only do what God has assigned to us. God has a plan for you and for me, both are Godly, both are perfect, but only one has been created for you and only one has been created for me.
Our political views and our moral stand, our line not to cross and our freedom to partake; we all have assumed at one time or another that how far we are willing to go, the ideologies we follow and the rules we live by are in line with the perfection of the God we serve.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

It’s not about looking Godly, it’s about being Godly.

A Little Understanding – Love Inwards
Loving upwards (God), loving outwards (non-Christ followers)… is something that can be more about appearance and less about truly loving with all we are. When it comes to fellow Christ followers we may not even extend the courtesy of appearing to be loving. (more…)
