I agree, 2Pet 3:17 states, to “Be careful not to be carried away by the errors of unprincipled people.” Yet, some are attracted to the grandstanding of it all. Some need that push to get them to, (and I pray) investigate the Scripture’s further for themselves for truth. For in the not so distant future, signs and wonders will also be carried-out so well, ‘to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect’. Jesus Himself said, “..Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.” (paraphrasing Mk 13:22 & Jn 4:48). We are in that era, if it’s not seen it’s not believed, sad to say.
