Is Fear Really That Bad?

Before you answer any question, it is probably best to ask a few of your own. A little free advice from one who often just blurts out what he thinks, sometimes before the entire question is asked, don’t! You probably know people like me. You probably find them annoying and maybe even don’t like them. Along with my “little free advice,” I will give you three insights into me. This will also be free! I find people who blurt out answers with little thought and sometimes before the question is finished, annoying too. The second free insight is, I don’t like them much either. Speaking of free, I might need some free counseling to address the fact I don’t like myself and find myself annoying.

Wisdom The Hard Way

I know a lot of stuff. I’m not bragging, you know a lot of stuff too! We all know a lot of stuff. That doesn’t make us smart and, unless applied correctly, it doesn’t even make us competent. Our brains are full of stuff. The smartest people in the world have additional stuff in comparison to us average people. The rest of us, the less smart and even lesser smart people know stuff. The truly wise people, they know stuff too but there is something more, something different about the stuff they know or at least to the way that stuff is incorporated in their lives.

A Little Wisdom – Humility

Ever wonder why we think highly of the educated and powerful while viewing those who have wisdom as relics fit for the wards at the old-age home? Could it be the fact that western culture has very little time for humility? …Sometimes the word humble is used to describe a successful person’s beginnings. Have you ever considered what is suggested by this? Stating that a person came from humble beginnings to emphasize how far they have come suggests they have gone from being nothing to being something. In other words, humble = bad, their new success = good.
