Job Openings

We are looking for bright individuals with proven track records in marketing. Successful candidates will have a strong grasp of product presentation to a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. Our North American branch has a long history of serving the community dating back to the first European settlers. Our parent organization has an even longer history which began around 2000 years ago in the area now known as the Middle East, starting in the country we call Israel. Our founder set out to present a new product/service, unlike any other product/service before. They Told Me I Need To Write A Blog – Follow Up

August 6th of this year I posted a blog about my writing journey called They Told Me I Need To Write A Blog. It had a tone of hopelessness because, quite frankly, I felt hopeless. A lot has changed since then. I have had people offer to help and I have gone from shelving my book “Blueprint” to working with an editor. I also have a cover designer and, when the time comes to bring it to the public, I have someone who will guide me through the process. I never thought life would change so much in a matter of weeks but then I often forget (I know better) the fact that my God can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine Ephesians 3:20 (NIV). If you are wondering what this book is about, here is the newly edited Introduction in blog format as a teaser to my book launch which will take place tentatively near the beginning of November 2020.

Maybe We Have It All Wrong Part 2

I took a chance last week and suggested that we may have got it wrong when it comes to our approach to telling others about Christ. So far no death threats, no mass unfollowing of my blog and more importantly no one came up with a Biblically strong argument that suggested that I got it all wrong. This week I thought I would take an even bigger chance and address something I think we have got wrong. What I am about to suggest goes against what has been considered conventional wisdom for quite some time. Even more dangerous, what I am about to say can be easily twisted to make it look like I support sinful acts rather than have problems with the way we have tried to address them. As I look at the state of North American Christianity I have to wonder if we have gotten it all wrong.

Maybe We Have It All Wrong

It has been bugging me for a while. I have to admit bringing it up has caused me some concern. What I am about to suggest goes against what has been considered conventional wisdom for quite some time. What I think we need to consider makes much of the current bestselling Christian “How To” books on church and Christian living no longer best sellers. As I look at the state of North American Christianity I have to wonder if we have gotten it all wrong.

Sometimes We Overlook What Has Become Ordinary

As you read this post my body will be processing the last bit of “Special K” I had yesterday. Ever since the “Special K” entered my body I felt different, as a matter of fact I immediately felt drowsy. Slowly I have been coming around, starting to feel more and more like myself but truth be told “Special K” causes me to experience the world in a totally different way. I don’t have “Special K” often but I do have it regularly, this is life for me two days every six months. Sometimes we overlook what has become ordinary.
